I really loved A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Now you should post what you thought of those books so I know which ones I should read.

I loved your roof post. I wish I had a roof I could sit on. :)

I may post my thoughts later, but I liked every summertime book, especially the first two. Many of the latter ones were sad. Well written, but sad. Nearly overwhelmingly so, though there was usually some redemptive action/feeling/hope to correspond to the sadness.

I am happy to finally be reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. It is so well loved by so many.

Sweet Elisa, hello. :)

Second, I love The Road. I dont know if you remember my book club last summer, but we read it. Even Tyson Henrie showed up because it is his favorite book.

Third, Carrie Kim gave me "A Three Grows in Brooklyn" for Christmas. I brought it with me to Italy but have not been able to started yet. I hear is good. let me know if you think so.

Fourth, I love you.
