What's in a name?

It turns out that it feels like a tricky thing, to give a human child a name, that they will carry and wear throughout their entire life. There was a name that I felt very good about, early on, but of which I have tiny seeds of reservation.

The names I love:

Cora (Evelyn)
Sophie
Alma
Stella
Olive

Sophie is a beautiful name as well as cute for a baby/child. I also have a beautiful niece named Stella and it is the only name that would suit her. I'm so excited for your wee girl!

Ohhhhhh I love all of those!! I actually thought about Cora, but I already have a Connor, so I felt they were too similar. But I love, love, love them all. Especially Olive. Something about the olive branch and the olive as a symbol of peace.

Cora is the name I have been planning since almost the beginning. It is after my great-grandma, whose first name is Stella and middle name is Cora. Olive may or may not be the only name that Spencer likes on the entire list.
